What we collect right now

At this pre-launch stage, this website collects only one thing: the email address you voluntarily submit to join our notification list. We use it for a single purpose — to email you when Waitlist Wellness launches. We don't sell, rent, or share your email with anyone.

No PHI, ever

Waitlist Wellness does not collect Protected Health Information (PHI) or any medical records tied to your identity — not on this website, and not in the app once it launches.

What the app will collect (once it launches)

The app is currently being designed to privately store some usage data on your own device — things like which mood you've logged, which education phases you've opened, and which daily check-in items you've completed. As of today, this is used only to help the app decide, in the moment, when it might be helpful to offer you a supportive check-in or point you toward a helpful tool already inside the app. Today, this data is not reviewed by us, not analyzed, not shared with your hospital, and not seen by anyone else — it stays on your own device and isn't linked to your name beyond what you enter yourself. See the note below on how this may evolve.

Anything you personally choose to write or record in the app — a journal entry, a letter, a saved question — is entered at your own risk. If you choose to include sensitive details in your own entries, that's your choice, and we'd encourage you to protect your device with a passcode or biometric lock.

No tracking or analytics (for now)

This website does not currently use cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics. If that changes before launch, this policy will be updated first, and you'll be able to see exactly what's changed.

Independent, not affiliated

Waitlist Wellness is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any hospital, transplant center, or health system.

Your rights

• You can ask us what email address we have on file for you.
• You can ask us to delete your email from our list at any time.
• You can unsubscribe from any email we send, including the launch announcement.

This policy will grow with the app

Once Waitlist Wellness launches, the in-app Terms & Agreement will spell out these commitments in full, in plain language, in both English and Spanish. Our no-PHI and no-hospital-affiliation commitments above will not change.

How usage data is stored may evolve as the app develops — for example, if future versions add mood-trend tracking or compliance support that requires data to leave your device. If that happens, we'll update this policy first and be specific about exactly what's collected and why, before it changes.
